Central Texas Foster Care Simulation

Registration for this event opens May 1st and closes July 8th! About the event--Big Country CASA developed this foster care simulation curriculum in 2020. CASA of Central Texas, Gruene United Methodist Church, and SJRC Texas I Belong are bringing it to Central Texas to provide a realistic, interactive experience of a “month” in foster care. Join us for this unique event where you will play the role of a child in foster care, a biological parent, a foster parent, a CASA volunteer, or a caseworker and experience a simulation of what 4 weeks in Foster Care can entail. This FREE event will be held on 7/22/26 from 9am-1pm at Gruene United Methodist Church (2629 E Common St, New Braunfels, TX). A light breakfast and lunch will be provided for attendees. Space is limited to 85 spots, and this registration MUST be completed by July 8, 2026 in order to attend!
