DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event opens May 1st and closes July 8th!\n\nAbout the event--Big Country CASA developed this foster care simulation curriculum in 2020. CASA of Central Texas\, Gruene United Methodist Church\, and SJRC Texas I Belong are bringing it to Central Texas to provide a realistic\, interactive experience of a “month” in foster care. Join us for this unique event where you will play the role of a child in foster care\, a biological parent\, a foster parent\, a CASA volunteer\, or a caseworker and experience a simulation of what 4 weeks in Foster Care can entail. This FREE event will be held on 7/22/26 from 9am-1pm at Gruene United Methodist Church (2629 E Common St\, New Braunfels\, TX). A light breakfast and lunch will be provided for attendees.\n\nSpace is limited to 85 spots\, and this registration MUST be completed by July 8\, 2026 in order to attend!
